I am fascinated by complex systems in the wild. I started my journey early when in high school, building design systems, launching apps, and working for startups. My curiosity led me to the world of ML, deploying algorithms that predicted stock market moves, NYC cab tips, mitigated pain for chronic pain patients, and even (an attempt) to decode people's dreams. Now, I work at Level, a firm that uses data to find alpha in the private markets. And, on the side, I research the human brain, markets, and experiment with new software technologies.
Cold emailed Stanley Tang asking to work at DoorDash. Worked there in design my sophomore year of high school. I was 15, Stanley was 22.
Studied computer science, with an emphasis on data science and ML.
Joined Albert at Level to build the first algorithms that would power our fund-of-funds strategy.
Scaled our datasets and algorithms across companies, private market transactions, scientific publications, GitHub contributions, job history.
Led internal experiments around building a consumer app and an incubation around ETL management, both failed. Built the first iteration of our core algorithm model that relied on deep learning and GAT architecture.
Built our unstructured pipeline, which integrates all of our unstructured knowledge into our structured data, giving us a powerful 360 view of companies, market narratives, and the people who drive them.
Level Fund II launches.
I consider routine exercise one of my hobbies and spend my social hours with friends I've known for more than half my life.
